What is Kingdom Entrepreneurship?

I'm not here to make things hard or overly complicated, Kingdom Entrepreneurship is simply submitting your life and business to God. Allowing him to lead you the entire step of the way. Allowing him to be your business partner the CEO over your life and business. Being obedient to his instructions, having the discipline to complete the task he has called you to. Exemplifying the characteristics of God through your business.

Kingdom Entrepreneurship is allowing God to use your business to draw others closer to God, reminding them to repent to God and turn from their wicked ways.

It's also walking in the fruits of the spirit love, joy, peace, patience, self-control, gentleness, kindness, goodness, and faithfulness daily even when you are tested. Kingdom entrepreneurship is owning and managing a business that is motivated by the things of God and not by the things of the world. Why is Kingdom Entrepreneurship Important?

Why is Kingdom Entrepreneurship Important?

You may come across people in the entrepreneurship world who believe entrepreneurship is all about the material possessions, titles, and benefits. However, God has given all of us gifts, skills, and talents that should be used to serve others not for our own personal gain although there are rewards for being obedient. Entrepreneurship is using your gifts, talents, and experiences to provide solutions for the world's problems. This means that entrepreneurship will always be a part of life, and when you are providing the world with a solution to their problems, they will always search for you!

When you surrender to Gods will for your life, you'll be able to impact communities, do what you love, get paid for doing it, and fulfill your purpose in the earth while leaving a legacy that your family will be proud of.

On top of that, God will always provide the provision for the vision he has placed in your life so you don't worry about how things will get done. Just listen for his instructions and be obedient to his way.

For example:

If God has given you a vision that exceeds what you have in your bank account, or you don't know the right people to ask to help you. Don't worry God will provide the right people, the finances, the equipment, the wisdom, and everything that you need.

How Kingdom Entrepreneurship Works?

So far, we've discusses the basics of Kingdom Entrepreneurship, and if you're still in shock that he has called you to walk this journey, I know exactly how you feel.

In fact, when I first started my journey into Kingdom Entrepreneurship, I felt like I heard him wrong, I felt so confused, inadequate, and afraid. The fact that God chose me to complete the task of helping other women like me walk into their purpose and this made me so fearful. The more fear I had the deeper I would dive into the word of God.  His word made me see myself the way God sees me and shows that I was thankfully wrong about who I was at the time.

Luckily, Kingdom Entrepreneurship is a beautiful process once we surrender to Gods plan and purpose.

I've put together 2 examples of what you need to know when entering into Kingdom Entrepreneurship to help you along your purposed filled journey of entrepreneurship.

Discover your Why!

Before jumping into entrepreneurship, it is important that you know your "why". The things that we go through are not for us but to help another who is going through what God has allowed us to overcome or experience. Yes, this applies even in business! When growing up have you ever watched your mom have a bad experience at an automotive shop where the car never got fixed, they made her pay an arm and a leg just to attempt to fix it all while having a nasty attitude when she asked questions? As a child that gave you a deep desire to want to become an automotive mechanic. You're now working as a mechanic in automotive shops and see that many of them have the same characteristics and it bothers you.  Now God is calling you to leave your job and open your own automotive shop to show compassion, educate, and truly fix the issue others come in for. In this example your "why" is in your experiences.

Knowing this will help you persevere when the journey gets difficult, oh and trust me the journey will get hard. Whenever God has given you a task that will uplift his kingdom there will be opposition. Opposition may show up in many forms lack of support, lack of finances, betrayal, being misunderstood, health issues, and so much more but be encouraged. Knowing why you're doing what you're doing will give you the strength to keep moving forward because we understand this entrepreneurship journey isn't about us it's about God! Spend time with God ask him to reveal your why. Don't be surprised if it leads you down a totally different path than what you are on now.

Who has God called you to serve?

Who has God called you to? In the world of entrepreneurship, it's called your target audience. Who do you want to serve your gifts, skills, and talents to? Do you have a soft spot for children, the elderly, those with disabilities, single moms, men, or veterans. The list can go on and on, what is that one group of people that pulls on your heart strings the most? Who God has called you to can also stem from an experience that helped you determine your why.

The best ways to discover your audience is to ask yourself:

  • Who comes to me frequently to help them solve their problems.

  • What experiences affected you the most and made you want to do something about it?

  • What area is God calling me to? Is it Entertainment, Chruch, Business, Family, Government, Media, Education?

Remember, Kingdom entrepreneurship is when your business and entrepreneurship journey is motivated by the things of God. When God is calling you to open a business in any of the areas above its important to know who we are to serve so that we are effective in our purpose. Remember our gifts, talents, skills, and experiences are not just for us but to be shared with the world as a part of Gods plan and purpose. Yes, these same principles even in business.
